An exclusive concert for the Friends of the Waghalter Project took place at the prestigious Savile Club in London’s Mayfair starting at 7.30pm. Virtuoso violinist Irmina Trynkos and pianist Gamal Khamis delighted the audience with a dazzling performance of Waghalter’s Violin Sonata Op. 5 and other pieces by  Szymanowski, Bazzini and Massenet.

The beautiful notes were savored with a fantastic dinner and the fine wines offered by the Savile Club’s cellar. The guests were ecstatic to be the first people to hear a live performance of Waghalter in more than half a century. After the performance the artists met with the audience, who profusely praised and congratulated them for a top-notch performance. Overall, a great evening and a great beginning for the Waghalter Project’s journey!
